Why is the blog named Harlingen Square?
My first daughter, Helen, was once nicknamed Harlingen. It is the name of a town near where my parents live in Texas.
My daughter Claire was nicknamed Square. The two names came together to form the name of this blog.
The nicknames of the other kids came too late to be included in this blog name.
